... sown yesterday with the help of my mother - 55 went in, 15 were thrown away due to rot / mould. Too early for the garlic, which will have to wait for another day. Have cleared some more ground and ordered some seaweed meal from OGC together with asparagus crowns, which won't be delivered for a long time yet ...

Married with a daughter. Working my way through the professions. The idea of an allotment having been fostered by Gardeners' World, I decided to see if I could rent one not far from where we live. Initially thwarted by 2 little old ladies and frustrated by the snail-like pace of a Parish Clerk, I eventually secured my overgrown plot in June, with little time to clear, prepare and plant!
